I am comparing configurations and one vehicle includes 2JX, described as “Customer Preferred Package 2Jx. This code identifies a factory option package or special-edition equipment group” Owners who have it, would you consider it useful and would you look for it again?

If you are documenting the vehicle, save both the original wording and the readable explanation. That preserves the factory terminology while making the record understandable later.

The safest interpretation is the one tied to the exact VIN, model year, platform, and market. In general, 2JX matches “Customer Preferred Package 2Jx. This code identifies a factory option package or special-edition equipment group” but the included hardware can vary between applications.

My experience has been positive, but the benefit depends on how the vehicle is used. I would treat 2JX as confirmation of the configuration, then evaluate whether that equipment matters for your driving.

I found a second document with the same code, so it looks like the original configuration is confirmed. The marketing name was what caused the confusion.
