Build sheet lists 1FY, but the equipment looks different

I have seen this on a similar Chevrolet Camaro. The basic description was correct, but one related feature was part of a separate package. I would not assume the code includes every item mentioned in marketing material.

That code should be read as a factory configuration identifier, not necessarily a guarantee of a separate dashboard control. Some equipment operates automatically or is bundled with another system.

A window sticker is helpful for customer-facing option names, while the build sheet is usually more detailed. If they disagree, the vehicle-specific dealer equipment list can help connect the sales name to 1FY.

The dealer should be able to pull a VIN-specific equipment or parts record. Ask them to search by VIN rather than entering only the three-character code.
