My 2022 Chrysler 300 did not appear to leave the factory with the setup identified by 2EB: “Customer Preferred Package 2Eb. This code identifies a factory option package or special-edition equipment group” I am considering adding it. Does the retrofit normally involve control-module programming, a different harness, or additional hardware?

If the feature is listed but not working, scan all related modules before assuming it was removed. A stored fault, replacement module, or configuration mismatch can make original equipment appear absent.

Check the production month as well as the model year. Mid-year changes are one reason two vehicles with the same badge can have different hardware or descriptions.

I would avoid buying retrofit parts until the connectors and module support are confirmed. Returning electronic or VIN-programmed components can be difficult.

The dealer should be able to pull a VIN-specific equipment or parts record. Ask them to search by VIN rather than entering only the three-character code.
